Vehicle Tests
A Roadworthy Test must be conducted every time a vehicle changes ownership. The test, which is a legal requirement, takes 30 minutes and ensures that vehicles meet the safety standards defined by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).
A Multi-Point Check establishes the overall condition of a vehicle. It is limited to a visual inspection which includes additional items and a Roadworthy Test.
A Technical Examination is a detailed bumper to bumper inspection of all visible and observable components of the vehicle. The process takes about 2 to 3 hours.
